The Founders of All Aboard

All Aboard was founded by Gene and Marie Rogoway in 2002.
They started this activities program for their special needs son, Mike, and his friends. After Mike and his classmates finished high school, it was a struggle to find activities that he could participate in and ways to socialize with his friends. Other than a few activities such as Special Olympics and monthly S.P.I.N. (Special People in Need) dances, there were not many community options available. Mike was becoming more isolated and withdrawn.
When the local parks department art program was cancelled due to lack of funding, Gene and Marie set their sights to start All Aboard.
Now, many years later, with the assistance of a small handful of volunteers and staff, All Aboard is blossoming and generating activities that provide a social and caring environment for adults living with disabilities. Participants must be 18 years old to participate in All Aboard activities. Participants under 18 may also attend but must have full time adult supervision.
